The seminar of the Bulgarian Memory Foundation – “Building shared values and competencies in young people through social entrepreneurship and ecology”, is co-financed by the Erasmus + program Key Activity 1 “Educational mobility for citizens”.
A total of 60 young people from Bulgaria, Moldova and Albania will take part in the event, who will soon apply to higher education institutions. At the seminar, they will have the opportunity to look at entrepreneurship and the environment in a social context, as well as to build shared values, skills and competencies. The main focus of the event will be on environmental protection as a conscious daily choice and pattern of behavior.
One of the main goals of the project is for young people to perceive entrepreneurship as an opportunity for career realization by developing practical knowledge for starting a business with care for society and nature. Participants will also get acquainted with the global cause of overcoming environmental challenges in the context of shared values and strong personal example.
The program of the event includes meetings with inspiring speakers, including Dr. Monika Panayotova, MEP (2012-2014), Deputy Minister of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU-2018; Yasen Georgiev, Executive Director of the Institute for Economic Policy, Alexander Kumanov, Member of the Management Board of Social Tea, Meglena Antonova, Campaign Manager – Greenpeace, Bulgaria and Boris Kolev, Serial Entrepreneur, Founder and CEO of CSR Bulgaria.
The participants will also take part in interesting games, challenges and case studies, as well as attend an evening of intercultural learning related to the customs, languages and culture of Bulgaria, Moldova and Albania.
