One of the most attractive international, cultural events held in Bulgaria is about to start. By the end of May, the Harlequin Children’s and Youth Media Art Festival – 2021 is expecting applications for participation in order to be able to create a real celebration of the mind, vision and senses in early July.
In 2021, Harlequin celebrates its 10th anniversary edition, and on this occasion the organizers have prepared unusual new categories and an extremely interesting presence by the international jury and participants.
The only festival that combines media, cinema, photography and music in its competition program, this year will pay special attention to the web series. Especially for the exclusive category, the age group of the participants is raised to 25 years, and their presentation can also take place online. Another new activity in the competition part of the festival is of interest: choosing the best multimedia created during the learning process during the year. Especially for the participants in this panel, as well as for everyone with an interest in multimedia art, the organizers of “Harlequin” have invited, as a lecturer at a workshop, one of the most popular experts on the subject in Europe, who will arrive from Portugal.
Harlequin 2021 will be held from June 30 to July 3 in Varna. Each of the favorites in the different categories will receive the emblematic prize statuette of the festival, and the audience is always looking forward to the awarding of the two special prizes of the forum: that of Prof. Hacho Boyadzhiev, who is the founder of the festival and journalist Petya Petrova. a worthy example for young people.
