The Center for the Book, the Department of Cognitive Science and Psychology and the Center Bulgarian Institute for Human Relations at the New Bulgarian University present Film Psychoanalysis. The Unconscious in Cinema – Cinema in the Unconscious by Andreas Hamburger on April 1, 2021 at 6 pm on Zoom. The translation from German into Bulgarian is by Hristo Todorov and Violeta Vicheva.

The moderator of the event is Chief Assistant Professor Dr. Svetlozar Vassilev, lecturer at NBU, chairman of the Bulgarian Psychoanalytic Society(BPS).

The Discussion will be joined by Chief Assistant Professor Svetoslav Savov, PhD, lecturer at NBU and member of BPS, Marina Angelova, chairman of the Bulgarian Association of Psychotherapy, member of BPS and the initiative “Psychoanalysis and Cinema”.

Andreas Hamburger’s book goes beyond previous monographic contributions on specific aspects of film to get to the heart of film analysis.
