In order to ease tensions around difficult 2020, Kevork did the inevitable and persuaded his producer, Alexander Kenanov of B2Y Productions, to make another short film.
“He agreed, with some pressure from me, of course. We filmed the ticket at the end of last August – a very strategic move because this period of time has many beautiful colors and greenery in our city of Sofia.”
Apart from a strategic move, however, the latter turns out to be a huge problem. Just when they agree on the date of the photos and specify all the details, the other productions ready for photos start and Kevork loses most of his familiar and hard-working team, because everyone has to work for paid projects, and not just out of love for the cinema.
Still, they are doing well.
“I worked with an international team of many new and young people I met for the first time – fresh blood, so to speak. I am very proud of the result we have achieved in these difficult times. This is our way of celebrating today’s International Women’s Day. This film is dedicated to all women”
