The exhibition of contemporary Bulgarian sculpture “Aura” opened on July 9 at the Rayko Alexiev Gallery with a work by Valentina Sharra. In a new way, it presents 15 authors who debuted after 2000.
Every day until July 30, the gallery will exhibit only one work in an unusual situation. Viewers will not have close access to the works and the opportunity to choose their own point of view.
“The sculpture will be viewed in the way it was viewed at the beginning of its historical appearance, in the space of the temple,” the organizers wrote.
The artists participating in the Aura project are: Valentina Sharra, Desislava Doseva, Blagitsa Zdravkovska, Anton Tsanev, Martian Tabakov, Nikola Tsvetanov, Svetoslava Atanasova, Elena Anachkova, Petar Petrov, Elina Simeonova, Yana Karamandjukova, Hristo Antonov, Galya Blagoeva, Svetlin Christina Drenska-Tita.
The author of the idea and curator of the series is the culturologist Kiril Vassilev, and you can learn more about the event from the page of Raiko Alexiev Gallery.
