As if they are Triumphal Arches — Exhibition by Atanas Hranov

Perhaps for many it is surprising, or rather intriguing, the title of the new exhibition of the artist Atanas Hranov, which is: “Exit” in the gallery “Foreshortenings”. In this space, a trademark for him, the windows face the quiet Khan Krum, on the other side a mysterious courtyard, with a small fountain left over from Stefan Stambolov’s house, like Alice in Wonderlan and Cat who crosses the yard with a smile on his face. The plots are several, above all “Alexander’s Gate”, “The Narrator’s Gate”, “Joseph’s Gate”, large-format canvases – size almost two by three meters, cycle “I was there too”, “Wind from the north” , “Dandelion tea” and others.
